What is Slabbing?
Slabs or flags, are sections of pre-cast concrete that are typically rectangular in shape. This is a common method of creating a practical or decorative area of hard standing. Typical usage includes paths and patios but varying thickness’s mean they can also be used for driveways. Depending on the range of slabs chosen, there is vast amount of ways slabs can be laid to create decorative patterns. Some patterns are even included in the range.
Slabs come in a variety of styles depending on their application. For decorative paths an patios, rivened and textured slabs are available to achieve a rustic effect. For more practical applications, slabs are available with smooth surfaces to avoid trip hazards or surfaces that offer more grip for disabled access.
